NeuroOps is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of ABRET, ASET, ACNS, AANEM, ASNM, CAAHEP, any labor organization or any licensing board. Organization names appear only as factual references to publicly available documents; no logos or copyrighted text are used.

Append-only. Entries are never edited or removed.

A standard moves left to right. It can be sent back at any stage, and being sent back is recorded.

Authored, not yet examined. Carries no weight.

Each statement is traced to a source version or explicitly marked as a NeuroOps position.

Working technologists and managers review it for whether it survives contact with a real schedule.

Required whenever a statement touches clinical activation, urgency or physician notification.

The council has accepted it. Not yet published.

Why these are called model standards
A national standard is a claim about adoption, not about authorship. Until governance participation and field adoption support that claim, everything published here is a Model Neurodiagnostic Standard: openly sourced, openly versioned, and adoptable by an organization that finds it useful. Source organizations' own standards remain theirs and are represented only as cited references.
